One of the longest running house concert series in the Philadelphia Area, for more than 20 years, PASA has presented its members in a true house concert setting. Since its creation by Rob Lincoln in 2000, more than 150 different performers have performed as a co-headliner.
Each concert features three PASA members as co-headliners, plus 8 to 12 "Open Chair" performers. Anyone who wants to play an original song can be an Open Chair performer. These shows are in round robin format, one song at a time and the Open Chair slots not only begin the show but also occur at the end of every round. There are usually seven rounds with an intermission in the middle.
NOTE: Doors open 30 minutes before concert start time. Please arrive early so we can start on time!

![]() | Drew CalvinDrew Calvin's music is intense, progressive, and explosive! His guitar-pounding energy fills a room until the aircrackles, yet his songs have a comfortable down-home flavor. He has earned praise from Mary Chapin Carpenter, Robin and Linda Williams, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, and Tom Prasada-Rao. Drew was a 2003 winner of the Performing Songwriter contest at Wildflower Festival in Texas, and is a five-time People's Choice winner at the Folk Factory. His artistic inspiration springs from a life lived all over the world in every conceivable life-condition (except rich and famous), and his passion for political and social reform raises his voice against the injustices of that world. |
![]() | Lisa JeanetteLisa Jeanette is a native Philadelphian and performing singer-songwriter. The youngest of nine siblings, Lisa took to time-sharing her brothers' guitars growing up. Since then, she's become a multi-instrumentalist accompanying herself on piano, guitar, and bass. The best way to describe Lisa's style of music is Kaleidoscope Folk, which represents a wide variety of genres in a diverse collection of songs.Website: www.lisajeanette.com |
![]() | Brian MindlinA lifelong singer-songwriter and guitar and piano player, Brian Mindlin gave his first performance at age 8 at Alice's Restaurant church (now The Guthrie Center) in his native Western Massachusetts. As an undergrad piano and composition major, he studied contemporary classical music, but songwriting remained his lasting love. In NYC after college, he worked in bands and studios, writing and producing for singers and commercials. Also a visual artist, Brian pursued a career as a creative director "walking the girders of the Manhattan skyline". But in recent years he brought more focus to music -- writing, producing, and releasing new songs and videos, appearing in classical recitals and songwriter circles in NYC, and joining PASA in 2022 while in grad school in Philadelphia. Influences: Joni, Elton, Ani, Carole, Billy, Ann and Nancy, Rachelle Ferrell, John Mayer, Dianne Reeves, JPG&R, others. |

You: The fourth performer can be YOU! The first eight (or so) performers to sign up at the show will sing one original song as part of the concert. This is an extra special OPEN STAGE SHOWCASE OPPORTUNITY, so bring along any instruments you'll want to play. The first people to arrive get to sign up first. The open stage slots often fill up, so come early to get a slot. |
