Iggy Taylor
Iggy Taylor started playing music at the age of ten. Teaching himself piano/organ, he played in several
local cover bands before walking away from music and relocating to Virginia.
Twenty years later, Iggy once again returned to Delaware to care for his aging parents. Being an only child, he was forced into making tough decisions regarding their care and well being. As he watched helplessly, Alzheimer's disease quickly overcame both parents and Iggy was forced into placing the two of them into a nearby nursing facility. Although better care was available, finances and Medicaid laws dictated decisions. As his parents' quality of life quickly declined, Iggy once again, turned toward music to soothe his pain and frustration. Writing songs reflecting his mood and feelings, he poured his heart out. The result has been five CD's of original music, and numerous national and international awards. Now playing original music in the popular band Too Little Time, Iggy continues his fight trying to make a difference in the world through positive lyrics, music, and actions. |
