Tim LaBorie

After Tim LaBorie heard Dylan perform in 1964 he went to a pawnshop and bought a guitar. With his musical roots in early folk, blues, and old time country music, Tim evolved into writing songs and playing his own music.
Over the past few years he has been spending half his life in northern Nova Scotia where, with a new group of musician friends, he plays community halls and farmers' markets. In Philadelphia he performs with the band Elgie's Kitchen and is a registered busker in the SEPTA train stations.
Tim appears on Elgie's Kitchen's self-titled album and is releasing the second of his solo albums this year.
