 No photo available. | Larry AhearnIn September of 1966, Larry Ahearn landed at Villanova University and immediately began working at the nearby Main Point in Bryn Mawr, PA. Between 1966 and 1976 he was an integral part of all aspects of Main Point operations: booking, promoting, and producing many of the now legendary shows that took place at the Main Point in its "golden years." Throughout that period he also began to write and perform his own music as a solo artist, and later with the Larry Ahearn Group (Tom Crosthwaite, Bill Cannon, Bill Shultz, Chris Shannahan, and Dan Rossi). After years of booking, promoting, and producing music, sports, and theatre, Larry has returned to his first love: writing and performing songs in an intimate atmosphere.Website: www.myspace.com/larryahearn |
 | Christy JeffersonChristy Jefferson is a singer/songwriter based in Doylestown, PA. She has opened for national acts including Kansas, performed for live audiences of 10,000 people, been on TV and radio, won international song competitions, worked with well-known producers who believe in her and her music, and she even sang her way out of a speeding ticket en route to Nashville. For the past 8 years, Christy has made her living as a full time performer and recording artist, with 7 self-released CDs to her credit. The past 6 months have been especially exciting for Christy; she signed most of the older songs in her catalogue with a publisher, and then released her new CD, "Agree to Disagree", which was co-produced by Shelly Yakus (who has worked with U2, John Lennon, Stevie Nix, and others).Website: www.christyjefferson.com |
 | Jerry (Crabmeat) ThompsonCrabmeat Thompson is an often outrageous, sometimes poignant performing songwriter. He has appeared at the World's Fair, at Veterans Memorial Auditorium in San Francisco with the poet Charles Bukowski, played at Sloppy Joe's in Key West, Philadelphia's Tin Angel, and the Ram's Head in Annapolis, as well as watering spots from Toronto to Missoula to Rome and Galway. He has shared the stage with the Pointer Sisters, Richie Havens, Steve Forbert, Roscoe the Wonder Horse, and Tiny Tim. His tune "Hot Springs" aired on Doctor Demento, and he was a guest on the late great Kate Wolfe's radio show in Santa Rosa, CA.Website: www.crabmeat.net |

This is an extra special OPEN STAGE SHOWCASE OPPORTUNITY, so bring along any instruments you'll want to play. Just arrive a little before 8 pm to make sure you have a performance slot. |
